The Epiphone Firebird from the Inspired by Gibson Collection picks up on the iconic reverse design of the original Firebird from 1963 and combines it with classic construction and modern features. The centerpiece is the 9-piece neck-through neck made of mahogany and walnut, which ensures high resonance and Sustain resonance, as the bridge, pickups and tuners are mounted on a continuous piece of wood. The SlimTaper C neck sits comfortably in the hand and is complemented by a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium Jumbo frets and Trapez-Inlays. For the characteristic Firebird sound, two Epiphone ProBucker FB720 pickups with Alnico 2 magnets are used, which are built according to original 60s specifications and clearly differ from classic mini humbuckers. High-quality Hardware such as Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, LockTone Stopbar tailpiece, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut round off the instrument. A premium Gigbag is included in the scope of delivery.
With two Epiphone ProBucker FB720 humbuckers, the Firebird delivers a rich sound for everything from blues to classic rock!
