With the Sound Desk Pro, Glorious presents another range of professional studio desks in three colours: black, white and walnut. The continuous worktop provides space for a screen and studio monitors, whilst two rack modules, each with 3U capacity, can accommodate equipment such as converters, large audio interfaces or effects processors. There is also space between the rack modules for desktop devices such as small interfaces, drum machines or synthesisers. The main worktop is large enough to accommodate additional equipment, a laptop, a mouse and a keyboard.
Beneath this is a pull-out shelf spanning the full width of the desk, with a load capacity of up to 12.5kg, meaning it can also accommodate heavier 88-key master keyboards or multiple synthesisers. Three cable grommets at the rear of the tabletop help you organise the cabling for your equipment.
With this model range too, Glorious has focused not only on a well-thought-out, practical design, but also on high-quality manufacturing and an elegant high-gloss finish. The Sound Desk Pro comes in two packages and can be assembled in just a few steps.
Please note: for deliveries outside Germany, a bulky goods delivery must be arranged. The flat-rate delivery charges do not apply to these. Please contact our export team for detailed information on delivery costs.
Glorious Sound Desk Pro WhiteWell constructed and nicely finished product. Had one tiny chip in one of the pieces but was able to fix it myself. You don’t need to use the glue.
Not overly impressed on the price as it was £50 less last year so quite a hike. (Currently £450)
The rack bolts are a bit fiddly and you do only get 8 per side, not enough to rack mount 6 single units. However I found that you can take the ‘thread part’ out of a standard cage nut they fit, find short rack bolts as it’s not very deep. As it’s a rack rail I cut down some cardboard to make spacers to keep them in position and stop them just failing down. The cable tidy rail is very useful.
