The Guitars Upgrade Tremmory S is an innovative locking system for tremolo systems that also tames sensitively adjusted floating brakes. Easy to install, the Guitars Upgrade Tremmory provides the system with a fixed anchor point that prevents detuning in case of bendings, palm courage or cracked strings, but allows the familiar Whammy Bar action.
Guitars Upgrade Tremmory SThis took ten minutes to install, balance the trem and let the instrument settle. Once done I gigged the next night, one guitar all night swapping drop d tunings several times with no issues what so ever.
I did have to wind the spring claw in a lot further than I would like even tho I definitely had the correct size unit, the main piston rod was about 5mm to long and kept banging the claw. Had I the tooling I would shorten it and kept my 3 spring setup.
That said it works like magic, was not expecting the trem to still work so smoothly even when locked for d tuning, that surprised me that the mechanism would allow that at all.
Great product.
Only moan is I ordered it in a rush being told it was coming from the uk warehouse, several days later it arrived from Germany . dreadful contact with a uk hotline that kept hanging up and no human to speak to.
The product itself, I will be getting one for every new guitar from now on!
Although the product was pretty hard to install as the instructions were not 100% easy to follow, the end result is stunning. I now have a fully floating Floyd and I can do unison bends and drop D tuning without any problem at all! So happy with this product and it is much simpler than blocking off the tremolo and adding a D tuna.
