The "H Expander" truss rod makes the neck profile particularly slim and comfortable, letting every riff and solo come alive on the fretboard easily. The fretboard is made of the signature Hagström Resinator wood , a composite material made of wood glued together under high pressure that prevents any dead spots due to its homogeneous and dense structure.
The Nameless Ghouls chose Lundgren Design No. 2 and No. 5 neck and bridge humbuckers , designed by Swedish pickup legend Johan Lundgren , for their Hagstrom Fantomen. Equipped with Alnico II magnets , they crank up the amp and deliver a fat, perfectly defined sound for driving riffs and singing solos. The classic circuitry with a 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls allows a wide range of tonal options. The push/pull switch in the lower tone pot can be used to split both humbuckers, providing authentic single-coil sounds with a bell-like response.

Therefore, a classic stopbar tailpiece sits on the body, from which the strings are guided over the Long-Throw Tune-O-Matic bridge .
