The Ibanez AW 417CE OPS is a new member of the Artwood series featuring a stylish dreadnought design. Thanks to its solid Sitka spruce top, the guitar conveys a powerful and clear sound, which is especially pronounced in the high frequencies. The laminated Okoume body delivers the necessary warm bass frequencies to perfectly complement the overall sound. A very flat Nyatoh neck with a Katalox fretboard, a spacious 48 mm saddlewidth and a 651 mm scale length, combined with the cutaway, give the player easy access to all 20 frets. Low friction die-cast tuners offer the player precise tuning and, in combination with an Ibanez AEQ-2T pickup with integrated tuner, shape the guitar into a beautiful and reliable guitar that is perfect for use on stage.
The Ibanez AW417CE OPS is the perfect stage companion.

At last, a steel string guitar that's wide enough, so I don't pick up my nylon string after 10 minutes. The action was a bit too high for my taste, but a little trussrod adjustment fixed that. In my ears, it has a deasant amount of dynamic range, I do must fingerpicking, but it answers well when you strum and puts energy to it. The sound of the pickup is ok, missing midrange and fase-switch, but no big problem. It is also a very beatiful guitar. I don't think I could have got a better guitar at this price that suits my needs, highly recommended.
