This version is intended for owners of a license for the EDU versions of Studio One Professional 1 - 4. To qualify for the educational discount, you must prove your affiliation with an educational institution as a teacher oder learner, according to Presonus guidelines.

VST/AU support right out of the box! Instead of having to buy a Rewire upgrade, you can use your favorite plug-ins from Fabfilter, Universal Audio, Slate Digital, Softube, and all the great freeware that's out there now.

Recording and mixing with 64bit floating point! To keep up with modern 32bit audio interfaces, the DAW engine needs to be pushed harder. Presonus takes this into account: Not only Studio One 5, but also all included plug-ins now work completely in 64bit. Together with sample rates of up to 384kHz, even demanding ears can master with ease.

All Presonus plug-ins have been reworked: Look forward to an extended feature set, a fresh look and of course an improved sound. Many effects now use state-of-the-art analog modeling, so you can enjoy authentic overdrive.

Are you a one-man studio without a sound assistant? No problem: With the Remote app, you can easily control Studio One from your tablet. Thanks to the familiar, extremely user-friendly interface, this is no problem on smaller devices, regardless or Android oder iOS.

Even the classic Studio tasks have not been spared from updates: Easily integrate external hardware effects via the new AUX channels, leave normalizing too loud oder tracks to the clip gain envelopes and play your software instruments with polyphonic MIDI expression and key switches filtered out of the audio engine by Studio One to save resources.
