With the Vintage Vibes EKX , Toontrack brings the authentic sound of a classic Wurlitzer Electric piano into the digital world of EZkeys 2. Every note of this classic tells its own story, from the gentle clang of the hammers to the subtle hum of the reeds to the charming irregularities that define the character of this instrument. or funky, jazzy, rocky or soulful, this sound blends seamlessly into almost any musical environment.

Faithfully sampled, authentic down to the last detail

The underlying instrument dates back to the 1970s and has been restored and sampled with the utmost care. Toontrack recorded it both directly (DI) and via a vintage combo amp with a ribbon microphone. As a result, the EKX offers two contrasting basic sounds, from clear and dry to warm and rough.
The included preset selection ranges from smoky and gritty to velvety and atmospheric. Many presets also combine subtle synth layers such as brass, bells or floating pads to give the sound additional depth and color.

Inspiration included, get started right away

The scope of delivery includes a customized MIDI library that was created especially for this instrument. You can get started right away with groovy riffs, soulful chords or bluesy hooklines that perfectly capture the typical Wurlitzer vibe.
