With the Vox AC15C1 Limited Edition British Racing Green the British amplifier veteran Vox presents a modernized version of its very first combo amp, which made the hearts of guitarists beat faster with its typical sound from 1958. Equipped with a 15 watt tube amplifier, two channels as well as reverb and tremolo effect, the guitar amplifier delivers a broad sound image with authentic vintage character, while the cover with deep green tolex provides a noble look in the style of classic sports cars.
Like its ancestor, who had a major influence on the sound of the British invasion, the Vox AC15 C1 Limited Edition also has two channels. While the combo amp delivers a transparent clean sound in the normal channel, which reproduces the guitar sound in detail, the top boost channel convinces with its creamy overdrive, whose brilliant "Vox Chime" stands out in every band. The Vox AC15 also features an integrated reverb effect that gives the sound a vivid three-dimensionality and a tremolo that can be controlled in speed and depth.
The output stage of the Vox AC15 C1 Limited Edition British Racing Green is equipped with two EL84 tubes and delivers 15 watts. Accordingly, the combo can amplify guitars with a volume suitable for the living room as well as in the rehearsal room. The performance is delivered by a Celestion G12M Greenback loudspeaker with 12" cone, creamy vowel centres, tight bass and clear highs, which perfectly match the authentic British sound character of the combo amplifier for electric guitars.
