The VSN1 Screen (Left) from the Intech Studio Grid Series 3 is a modular controller for anyone who wants a better overview and direct access when working in a DAW, during sound design, or in a live setup. Designed for the left position within the grid system, the module integrates seamlessly into existing configurations and expands them with a freely programmable display and tactile control.
The high-resolution LCD display with 320 × 240 pixels takes center stage. It can be fully customized via the Grid software and the Lua API and can display parameters, values, status indicators, or visual feedback. Especially in complex sessions with many tracks, plug-ins, or automations, the display provides clarity without constantly having to look at the computer screen. Combined with the buttons located underneath, this creates a direct and intuitive workflow.
The endless jog wheel is ideal for scrubbing, fine adjustments, browsing, or transport control. There are also eight high-quality Gateron buttons with a tactile click and four additional action buttons below the display. Everything is freely assignable and responds quickly and reliably. Whether you are controlling a DAW, operating plug-ins, or triggering shortcuts, the VSN1 remains versatile and precise.

The VSN1 Screen (Left) not only works with MIDI, but also supports keyboard, mouse, and gamepad emulation. This allows you to control not only music software, but also video editing programs, streaming tools, and other creative applications. The Grid software combines hardware and software into an open system that adapts to your workflow not the other way around. The VSN1 requires Intech Studio’s Grid software for configuration and runs on all major platforms, including macOS, Windows, and Linux. It can also be used on mobile platforms if USB host support is available.
Like all Grid Series 3 controllers, the VSN1 uses Intech Studio’s magnetic connection system. Modules can be connected in any direction to form a stable, tidy control surface. RGB LEDs on each control element provide visual feedback and help keep even complex setups easy to navigate. The module connects via USB-C, which also supplies power.
