Classical guitar in 1/2 size with cutaway, extra deep Sapele body and matt finish
With the Ortega RQ25 Requinto, a shortened nylon string guitar with cutaway, the manufacturer continues the tradition of Latin American music, where the compact sound wonder has always been established. Known through Trío-Romántico groups, the Requinto is perfectly suited for folk music, but with its charm it offers a lot of other fields of application. The secret lies in a laminated body made of Sapele, with an extra wide rib that goes further down than conventional classical guitars. As a result, the RQ25 produces a warm tone with rich bass frequencies that perfectly complement the otherwise bright sound of the laminated spruce top. Clean playability is ensured by a generous Cutaway and a flat okoume neck with a nutwidth of 50 mm, which thus provides easier access to the 18-fret walnut fingerboard. In addition, the headstock is equipped with precise tuning machines that fully represent the excellent quality of the instrument and allow easy tuning of the 6 nylon strings. The Ortega RQ25 Requinto classical guitar is rounded off with an inlay at the 12th fret, an elaborate soundhole rosette and a noble matte finish.
