Yellowtec iXm Podcaster

The iXm Podcaster from Yellowtec is a high-quality handheld microphone with a built-in digital recorder for straightforward, high-quality interview recordings. The innovative ‘LEA’ control processor always guarantees an optimal signal level without annoying AGC pumping, clipping or artefacts, and reliably filters out background noise. The Podcaster is controlled via two water- and dust-resistant buttons positioned at thumb height. After recording, the material can be monitored via headphones. Control is handled by a button panel at the bottom, accompanied by voice prompts.

Unlike the iXm Recording Mic, the iXm Podcaster does not feature a built-in battery and is compatible exclusively with the Yellowtec dynamic microphone head from the PRO Line, which has a cardioid polar pattern. Recordings are saved to an SD card with a capacity of up to 32GB, featuring a 30-second pre-roll – so you won’t miss a thing even if you start recording a little too late.
