The Akai APC40 mkII DAW controller of the second generation is USB bus-powered and specially tailored for use with the digital audio workstation Ableton Live. The Akai USB controller can be seamlessly integrated into this software and enables intuitive control of the AbletonLive sequencer software with stunning visual feedback.
Features
With the 5x8 clip-launch matrix, the APC40 has over 40 illuminated and touch-sensitive pads, which are freely assignable, as are the 8 faders and knobs. There is also a master fader, which rounds off the concept of the APC40 as a versatile controller. The send button can also be used to access send paths without detours.

Amazing Product, in my opinion, a must for performances of Ableton Live users. In the studio its also great for mixing and extremely handy for recording automation. Built quality is good and faders and knobs gives you a good feeling. Totally recommend.
