The Fame Baphomet II is constructed using only hand-selected woods which guarantee the best possible sound and playability. Accordingly, the ash body supports a powerful tone, while the soft curvature guarantees a comfortable contact with the player. The five-piece neck made of maple with mahogany veneers is sixfold bolted for a particularly stable connection and offers smooth grip over all 24 frets of the Pau Ferro fingerboard with its slim "D" profile.
The electrical sound conversion of the Fame Baphomet II 5 Natural Ash is handled by two active MEC Jazz single coils. Equipped with ceramic magnets, the pickups impress with a particularly transparent sound image, combining high assertiveness with all-round capabilities for almost any kind of music. In addition to the volume and balance controls, the Fame Baphomet II 5 also features an active MEC BEC2 2-band EQ. With treble and bass controls on a double pot, the equalizer allows for precise sound adjustment, whereby the musical tuning guarantees first-class sound experiences even at extreme settings.
Last but not least, the Fame Baphomet II 5 Natural Ash is equipped with indestructible hardware that guarantees long-lasting playing pleasure with unlimited functionality. Accordingly, the solid WSC SI5 bass bridge on the body supports the even sound development, with five individual string saddles ensuring optimal adjustment of intonation and string action. In addition, five encapsulated WSC JB15 tuners on the headstock ensure accurate and stable tuning of the five-string.
