The VT-12 tube microphone was designed to deliver professional results, even surpassing the sound quality and specifications of many by far more expensive microphones. The design and the sound character is comparable with some of the fine vintage tube mics of the golden era, except for its affordable price! The mic has a very elegant looking, rugged body. But also on the inside only high quality components, like handselected 12AX7 tubes have been chosen. This results in a warm, distinctive, pleasant sound.
The microphone features nine polar patterns, which are selected via the included power supply. Hence the microphone is extremely versatile for various applications.

Before buying this FAME tube mic, I was no idea for this brand because it was from Music Store. And I checked their demonstration video which it was clear, warm and full. And finally it does not make me disappointed!
So far I have used it for recording our band's demo (vocal & acoustic guitar). Its performance is really satisfied. Just one thing, the craftsmanship can be better which the FAME logo tag on the mic is not sticking firmly. But for tube mic price range, it is really good to buy it.
