As part of the coveted Iron Label series, the RGAIX6FM represents uncompromising playability, merciless sounds and stage-ready looks at a competitive price in the matt White Frost Flat Finish. The famous Nitro Wizard neck profile provides fast and clean riffs, while two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers provide the necessary output for juicy high gain sounds. Last but not least, the RGAIX6FM is a real eye-catcher thanks to its White Frost Flat Finish curly maple top.
With only 19mm wood behind the first fret, the Ibanez Wizard is one of the slimmest neck profiles. The extremely flat profile is especially useful for quicker layer play and can be played up to the highest registers without any problems thanks to the wide cutaway.
Besides the battle-proven Ibanez Gibraltar Standard II bridge with good contact surface for Palm Mutes and adjustment possibilities for intonation and string position, Gotoh MG-T locking mechanisms ensure fast and uncomplicated string changes. Thanks to the back locking function, only a few windings are required on the axes. Accordingly, the RGAIX6FM is especially stable in a matter of seconds before gigs and recording sessions, even with fresh strings.
Two Fusion Edge humbuckers developed in collaboration with the pickup professional DiMarzio provide appropriate sounds in neck and bridge position. The passive humbuckers with ceramic magnets achieve a somewhat more powerful output level and are wonderfully suited for high gain sounds with the extra portion of steam. When played clean, however, the double spoolers are quite articulate, especially at the neck, with a healthy dynamic range.
Instead of the classic Master Tone, the RGAIX6FM-WFF uses a coil tap switch to split the humbucker coils. Accordingly, the instrument skillfully covers clear and attacking single coil sounds.
