Répression by Ritual Electronics is a CV controllable comparator in compact Intellijel 1U format. The module compares two signals (audio, CV); one at the input, the other is defined by the Threshold knob and the Thrsh CV input added to the potentiometer. A total of four signals are derived from this comparison process.
Above is high when the input is above the threshold.
Below is high when the input is below the threshold.
Equal outputs a trigger when the input and threshold values are equal.
Bipolar is a +/-5V version of the above output. Very useful when the comparator is used for audio tasks (e.g. PWM generator, complex oscillator etc.).
