I don’t understand why TC removed tone control when designing the effect - this drive sounds too bright for pretty much every application I can think of. An eq pedal is a must. Or a mod if you know how to use a soldering gun. Overall I’m disappointed
Tube Pilot pedal is my first tube pedal so I can't compare it with other tube pedals. However when I plugged the pedal in I was surprised by excellent sound quality.
The tone is rich and it offers warm and expressive sound with incredible dynamics. Thanks to Its price is affordable for everyone and it proofs that all TC Electronics products offer high quality.
