What is included in the scope of delivery?
The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 combines a digital mixer, multitrack recorder and USB audio interface in one compact console. With 20 discrete channels, including 16 mono and 2 stereo channels, it is suitable for bands, rehearsal rooms, live recordings and studio recordings. Each channel can be edited individually so that even larger setups can be mixed and recorded in a clearly organised way.
Recordings are possible with up to 22 tracks directly to SD card, optionally with up to 24 bit/96 kHz. Alternatively, the console can be connected to the computer as a 22-in/4-out USB audio interface to edit individual tracks in a DAW or integrate existing projects.
Six configurable monitor outputs are available for live and rehearsal room applications. Musicians can thus have their own monitor mixes, while the overall mix is controlled separately. EQ, compressor, high-pass filter and internal effects support sound processing directly on the console.
Up to nine mixer scenes can be saved and recalled later. The LiveTrak L-20 can also be controlled wirelessly via the iPad remote app; an optional wireless adapter is required for this. This makes the console particularly suitable for bands and technical teams who want to combine mixing, monitoring and multi-track recording in a centralised setup.

With 20 inputs, the Zoom LiveTrak L-20 offers sufficient connection options for larger setups. There are 16 mono mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs so that vocals, instruments, players or backing tracks can be integrated separately.
Each input has a 3-band equaliser with parametric mids to specifically adjust individual sound sources. The 16 mono channels are also equipped with compressor control, which facilitates dynamic processing during live performances, rehearsals and studio recordings.
Separate processing of the individual signals means that larger band and recording setups remain clearly organised. This means that sound sources can be individually mixed, recorded and later processed without having to combine them during recording.
The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 can record 20 individual channels and a stereo sum directly to SD card. Recording is done at up to 24 bit/96 kHz, making it suitable for live recordings, rehearsal room recordings and multi-track studio productions.
The integrated preamplifiers offer a high signal-to-noise ratio and up to +60 dB preamplification. This means that even quieter signal sources can be recorded cleanly without unnecessarily complicating the workflow with additional equipment.
Individual tracks can then be transferred to a DAW for post-processing. Alternatively, mixes can be created directly on the LiveTrak L-20. This keeps the setup flexible - from quick concert recordings to detailed multi-track recordings.
The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 offers six independent monitor outputs that can be used to create separate mixes for musicians or performers. This allows different monitor requirements within a band or ensemble to be specifically mapped.
Depending on the application, the outputs can be used as a headphone output or as a balanced line output for stage monitors. This makes the monitoring system suitable for rehearsals and studio recordings as well as live situations.
Individual monitor mixes facilitate orientation in the mix and support better interaction without everyone involved having to use the same monitor sound.
The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 can be controlled wirelessly via the free iOS app. This requires an optional wireless adapter such as the Zoom BTA-1.
Among other things, fader levels, scenes, EQs, effect sends, returns and other mixer functions can be adjusted via the mobile device. This allows the mix to be controlled flexibly from the room, from the FOH position or directly from the stage.
Zoom LiveTrak L-20Despite the years and following our dreams of being rock stars (lesquithewhotribute.com), we have gone from old to new. Looking for a console that helps us in everything. From monitoring, from outside sound and above all, recording the day to day of our rehearsals and our concerts, to be able to always have a trace of what we like the most in this life, keep playing The Who songs. The console is great, it's simple, you don't need a lot of experience in all this. We highly recommend it, it is one of the few instruments that you can say that you have everything in one device. With the years we have been recording, playing live, monitoring, effects, etc ... There is no doubt that today technology can help and make everything can be placed in a single box. And this box is a clear example of advanced technology. We highly recommend it! Regards
Really great mixer for the price, compact and light, great mix printing options and great execution of their channel selection/output selection system to enable really efficient monitor mixing and space saving approach to delivering 24 channels. well pleased!
