This is the smallest of the 700 Watt family within the Opera range by dB Technologies.
Exactly the same size as the Opera 510 DX, the Opera 710 DX active PA speaker packs an enormous punch with almost twice the power due to the DigiproG2 amplifier! Together with the 10” woofer, the DigiproG2 generates phenomenal bass response and high end definition for such a small and portable mini PA!
The dB Technologies Opera 710 DX inputs via balanced XLR and ¼” TRS unbalanced jack and outputs via balanced XLR.

Asymmetrical Horn – a cleverly shaped horn that the mid/high frequency driver outputs from. The horn is narrower at the top to throw high frequencies greater distance, making the monitor effective both at close and long range. The horn also flares out at the bottom to increase horizontal coverage, dispersing the signal wider from the source to accommodate all crowd sizes.
Digipro®G2 – dB Technologies own power amplifier design that cuts down on power consumption and heating while also improving signal to noise ratio and allows a ‘superior dynamism’ in this new range of monitors
DSP Processing – this acts as an active crossover and controller for the amplifier, splitting and limiting the signal and aligning the phase and delay times to ensure optimum performance.
Low Noise Reflex Port – these reflex ports enhance the low end of the outgoing signal while reducing wind noise by up to 50%.
Multiband Limiter – this limiter protects the speaker’s internal components and maintains sonic quality and system stability when it is ‘under stress’, i.e. outputting at high levels for long periods of time.
Multifunctional Housing – the aesthetic design of the Opera series allow for numerous placements, including floor monitoring, satellite speakers and full range configurations.
PP Housing – Polypropylene is used to make the cabinets for the Opera series and allows for aesthetically pleasing and sonically sound enclosure designs.
SMPS – stands for ‘ultra efficient switched mode power supplies’. This ensures optimum performance of the monitor even when plugged into poor quality power supplies.
