The KeymaXX SP-1 is a sleek, stage-ready piano with a weighted 88-key hammer action keyboard and a powerful two 6-watts stereo speaker system. Aimed at beginners and advanced players alike, the highly playable instrument features eight select sounds suitable for a wide range of styles from classical to rock, pop and jazz, and can be enhanced with reverb and chorus effects as needed. The polyphony of 128 voices is high enough to ensure that no fading note is swallowed during faster playing. The included triple pedal with soft, sostenuto and sustain pedals makes the playing expression possibilities comparable to those of a concert piano.
The linear recording function with a capacity of about 5000 notes proves to be very helpful when practicing new pieces. With this you can not only inspect yourself but also replace the third and fourth hand on the instrument when playing alone. The Dual Mode for the keyboard divides the keyboard into two sections, so that these can be played simultaneously in two different sounds spread over the keyboard. A metronome can be switched on at any time for rhythmic orientation.
Another highlight of the SP-1 is the integrated USB MP3 player! On a (separately available) USB stick you can save a few favorite songs to which you want to practice and play while the song is playing. Since the MP3 player also works independently, the KeymaXX Stage Piano is also a stereo speaker for playing MP3 songs.
Besides the input for the power supply, there is a connection for the included triple pedal. Stereo outputs connect the instrument to a mixing console, audio interface or home stereo system. The stereo input is intended for connecting a smartphone or CD player and integrating the music from it into the exercises. Thanks to two headphone outputs with 6.3mm jack, it is possible to play and practice undisturbed in duet at any time of the day.
