The Ansmann Mignon AA alkaline batteries with a long-lasting and high energy output are suitable for demanding applications with high energy requirements, for example ground effect devices, radio microphones, audio devices, digital cameras, flash units, games consoles or torches. In addition, they guarantee reliable performance and long operating times.
Storage:
Alkaline manganese batteries should be stored in a dry place, preferably at room temperature. Do not freeze cells / batteries - this would not increase the life span. Elevated storage temperatures can shorten life expectancy. Temperatures above 60°C can lead to leakage or destruction of the cells / batteries. When storing unpacked cells, there is a risk of short circuits and consequent heat generation. Avoid large temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight.
Storage of large quantities:
If possible, to avoid the risk of short circuits, store the cells / batteries in their original packaging. A fire or smoke alarm system is recommended. With regard to automatic fire extinguishing systems, refer to chapter 5 "Fire fighting measures".
Handling:
Improper use, both mechanical and electrical, should be avoided. Do not short-circuit cells / batteries, insert them with reversed polarity or store them loose in a pocket / purse. Use cells / batteries only as instructed by the equipment manufacturer. Do not store cells / batteries within reach of children. If the batteries are used in devices for children, they should be protected from their access. Do not swallow cells / batteries. Do not dispose of cells / batteries in fire. Do not dispose of cells / batteries in water. When changing batteries, ensure that new cells / batteries of the same type and manufacturer are used.
Charging:
Never attempt to charge Ansmann alkaline batteries. They are not designed for charging. This type of cell / battery is ready for use immediately after production.
Disposal:
Disposal must be in accordance with applicable state and local regulations.
