While the classically styled body and the maple neck in the fast "Speed Neck" profile promise first-class playing characteristics, an HSS setup with pickups from Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio ensures varied clean and distortion sounds. A straight hardware setup with Charvel Hardtail Bridge and tuning stable Die-Cast tuners completes the Jake E Lee Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HSS guitar by Charvel.

Classic design with agile playing characteristics

Based on the popular So-Cal Style 1 design, the Charvel Jake E Lee Signature guitar impresses with classically composed tonewoods and first-class playing characteristics. Due to the generous shaping, the alder body hugs the player with perfect balance, while the bolt-on maple neck promises light-footed playability of all 21 frets of the rosewood fingerboard thanks to the flat "Speed Neck" profile with compound fingerboard radius.

Flexible sound with pickups from Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio

As with Jake E Lee's original, the electric tone conversion of his Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 Signature guitar is performed by an HSS setup with pickups from Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio, which elicits varied clean and overdrive tones from the guitar amp. The surprisingly powerful DiMarzio SDS-1 single coils in neck and mid position convince with a full and warm sound, which not only gives Overdrive the necessary pressure, but also presents cleans with harmonic balance. The Seymour Duncan JB humbucker installed in the bridge position, on the other hand, delivers an enormously powerful sound with a sharp midrange focus and well-dosed bite that easily asserts itself even in the densest Mix. The pickup is controlled straightforwardly via a 5-way switch and a volume control.
