The body of the Fame Forum Custom is made of mahogany and has a two-piece cambered glued top made of high-contrast and evenly grained flamed maple. The experienced luthiers from Gdansk pay attention to achieve the strongest possible pattern with a three-dimensional depth effect, which is further emphasized by the transparent finish. The shimmering iridescent abalone purfling, which is finished off with a single-layer cream-coloured binding, provides a further visual depth effect and clear body contours.

All of the instrument's hardware including pots, bridge and switches are sunk into the top for ergonomic reasons to make palm mutes and pickings as comfortable as possible.
