The
The body of the Fame Forum Custom is made of mahogany and has a two-piece cambered glued top made of high-contrast and evenly grained flamed maple. The experienced luthiers from Gdansk pay attention to achieve the strongest possible pattern with a three-dimensional depth effect, which is further emphasized by the transparent finish. The shimmering iridescent abalone purfling, which is finished off with a single-layer cream-coloured binding, provides a further visual depth effect and clear body contours.
Try the Fame Forum Custom and you will be amazed by the slim profile and the weight of the instrument, both on the strap and on the lap! All of the instrument's hardware including pots, bridge and switches are sunk into the top for ergonomic reasons to make palm mutes and pickings as comfortable as possible.
Whether you're a shredder or blues fan, both fast runs and organic bendings are perfectly supported by the slim yet contoured 'C' profile of the mahogany neck. The Forum Custom features a flattened neck base for easy access to the high frets, while the long neck tenon, which is glued under the neck pickup, emphasizes values such as sustain and construction stability.
Classic rock sounds, singing blues leads and aggressive metal riffs are equally well served by the classic Seymour Duncan combination of an SH-4b JB Model humbucker on the bridge and an SH-2n Jazz pickup in neck position. The market leader's hand-wound and US-manufactured pickups are equipped with Alnico 5 magnets and provide a well-balanced output with convincing pressure without giving up dynamic range. Both pickups can even be switched to single coil operation via mini switch.
Naturally, no compromises have been made in terms of hardware: This fine guitar, which is fully equipped with high-quality Schaller parts, features a GTM piezo bridge with string saddles from GraphTech, solid Schaller M6 clamp tuners with backlocking function and security locks installed ex works for worry-free stage performances. All hardware parts are covered with 24-carat gold. When we talk about premium hardware, we mean it!
Including Schaller security locks, adjustment key and manual!
