The Fender Player Jazz Bass V PF (3-Colour Sunburst) is a 5-string Electric Bass which offers the authentic Jazz Bass feeling with playing comfort and a wide range of Bass sounds for almost any musical environment. Fender relies on the proven off-set design with Alder body and screwed Maple neck, which, thanks to the "Modern C" profile with 38mm saddle width, offers optimum conditions for extremely smooth playability. With 2x Fender Player Series Alnico V single coil pick-ups and the traditional passive circuitry, which provides separate volume controls and a general treble diaphragm, the Fender Player Series Jazz Bass delivers a versatile sound spectrum through an Amplifier, suitable for Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues or Metal. This 5-string Bass is equipped with reliable hardware in the form of the Fender 5-Saddle Vintage-Style Bridge and precise Fender Standard Open-Gear bass mechanics.

Back in the 90's you had to spend a lot more to get an instrument of this quality. My Player Series Jazz Bass is flawless. It's as good as the American Fenders I've owned. Sounds great, feels great, and looks absolutely incredible in Tidepool!
This bass is a modern version of a classic bass. It looks, sounds and plays great ....just like a good Jazz Bass. It is lightweight and comfortable to play. Build quality is very good indeed. It's a welcome and very accessible addition to Fender's range of basses that carry its logo.
This bass came at an affordable price and surpassed my expectations. It’s smooth to play and light in comparison to other basses I’ve played. Very versatile and will be coming with me to every gig from here on out
