The KRK Classic 5 (Black) is a near-field powered monitor speaker containing a 5” glass-aramid composite woofer and 1” soft-dome tweeter. The proprietary class A/B bi-amped power system delivers SPLs of up to 106dB, as well as low distortion and a high-end frequency response of an incredible 35 kHz.
The build quality and component choice are designed from the ground up to provide a clear, detailed and accurate representation of the source material, and the small footprint and respectable bass response mean these monitors are sure to continue the success of the previous G2 model.
The KRK Classic 5 (Black) is an active studio monitor from the remarkable Rokit Generation 3. This powered studio monitor offers a professional performance and accuracy at all times for recording, mixing, mastering and playback applications. The KRK Classic 5 (Black) is equipped with a 1” soft dome tweeter and a 5” glass-Aramid composite woofer. Delivering high frequencies up to 35 kHz, vocal clarity and extended bass response, this monitor features the proprietary bi-amped, class A/B amplifier that grants SPL up to 106dB.
The ROKIT waveguide is designed to ensure detailed imaging in the listening position whilst the front-firing bass port reduces boundary coupling to allow flexible positioning in the room. Multiple audio input connectors (XLR, 1/4”, RCA) offer universal connectivity for any studio environment. Radiused edges reduce distortion from diffraction and a low-resonance enclosure offers minimised distortion and colourisation. A factory installed foam pad provides isolation between the speaker and surface. This limited edition model comes with a special black housing.

One of my speakers stopped working after a few months, maybe it was just me that was unlucky, besides they are great!
These speakers are really good.
They are compact but have good sound, can be plugged by balanced or unbalanced variants, have front ported bass reflex, that makes them handy. Fine choice for home use.
Im totally satisfied as an amateur, would reccomend. Price is significantly better than russian retail. Shipping was fast.
The quality is superb! Im just a bedroom producer, and this "low on price but big in quality" monitors are the most cool pieces in my setup for producing music at home. No need to buy a soundcard for now, so big bargain!
