Gibson's limited SG Special Single Coil is primarily the perfect base for juicy leads and crunchy sounds of early rock and roll. On the other hand, the flexible P-90 pickup setup also impresses with strong character and dynamic cleans in neck and bridge position. With the ideal mixture of speed and handling, the historical rounded profile of the mahogany neck is convincing and allows unlimited playability over all positions of the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, not least thanks to the proven double cut body design.
The hardware equipment of the SG Special Single Coil also remains classic and consists of a tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar, adjustable for intonation and string position, as well as indestructible and voice-stable vintage style tuners with white wings.

In this case, the build quality, P90 pick ups and overall quality is top. As for the sound, both clean and crunchy, I can only say it's a very good buy.
Also very comfortable to play, light and responsive with a precise tuning all aling the fretboard (which sometimes is not so in cheaper instruments, as it shoud be nevertheless).
Needless to mention that it is a beautiful design with the wooden finish, but that's a matter of taste.
Jazzy, funky and bluesy sounds are sharp and sustain is more than I can make use of.
