Newfangled Audio Generate - the chaotic cinematic polysynth for modern productions

With Generate, Newfangled Audio brings a polysynth to the table that doesn't just want to sound classically "beautiful", but lively, unpredictable and cinematic. At its heart are eight so-called chaotic generators that fade between clean sine clarity and controlled sound chaos. The result is pads with depth, moving keys, aggressively sequenced basses or leads that literally breathe - ideal for contemporary music, score work, sound design and experimental electronics.

Chaos as a musical tool

Generate is based on models from chaos theory: what initially seems random reveals patterns, feedback loops and organic movement when applied musically. Each of the eight generator types delivers its own character - from harmonically rich textures to rough noise grunge. Combined with the five wavefolders, the Buchla-style low-pass gate and the powerful modulation architecture, you get a synth that can do everything from subtle to radical without ever being one-dimensional.

Modulation that inspires instead of slowing down


Whether MIDI, MPE, LFOs, envelopes, random/S&H or step sequencers - practically every parameter can be modulated, even modulators among themselves. The clever interface keeps you in the flow: modulation is routed directly in the main window, without detours, without fiddling with patches. The whole thing is complemented by integrated effects such as EQ, chorus, delay, Reverb and limiter, which can also be modulated and make your sounds immediately mix- and performance-ready.


Endless presets - get started right away

With almost 900 presets, including many artist sounds, Generate provides a huge starting point for every style: bass, keys, leads, pads, plucks, rhythms, sequences and cinematic atmospheres. You can start producing right away - or dive deep into sound design and build your own chaotic signatures.
