The Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX is a compact, portable mixer that is ideal for small bands.
The ZED60-14FX is a guitarist’s dream. Two of the 8 mono channels have high impedance jack inputs that can take a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup, so guitars can be plugged straight into the mixer without the need for DI boxes. I recommend this mixer for 3 reason:
1 better price than SSL SiX Desktop Mixer ':) for the price
2 Its sounds super clear and no background noise
3 Very good build and strong material plus the panels are individual
I can say this is an amazing mixer for a home studio or live mix.
It just sound GREAT. I don't say great because of the quality build but for the precision and guess what? zero background noise. it is excellent for small home studio again and live shows or event.
Insert your guitar/mic or synthezizer whatever it you want to use as external source it will sound amazing .
As an advantaj the effects will make everything to sound even better.
I try few mixers like Mackie ( not bad ,but background noise) and behringer ( quiet not right for home studio)
It is strong as the mixer has individual panels and each channel is separate
I use this mixer with my Apollo Twin X. so you can understand why I was needed a good mixer.
