The Behringer BOD400 is a Bass Guitar Effects Pedal, Overdrive
Get rich, tube-like distortion, smooth sustain and super-fat tone! Here’s an overdrive pedal that supports the entire frequency range of bass guitars, even 5 & 6-stringers. The best part of all, the BASS OVERDRIVE BOD400 was designed specifically for bass, so the bottom-end won’t drop out when you pull the trigger.

As an amateur this is an ideal entry level device. I feel it would gig well but full time professional use may wear it out

Ideale bas distortion zonder storende feedback. Ik had eerst de boss ODB, die ook heel goed is, maar de BOD heeft een duidelijke distortion. De Boss is wel van betere kwaliteit omdat het een metale pedal is en de BOD slechts PVC is. Dus moet je er wel voorzichtiger mee zijn. Deze is ideaal voor grindcore. Ik gebruik het in combinatie met een Ibanez bas en Ashdown combo versterker.

For the money this is an excellent overdrive for the bass. It's easily adjustable and makes my bass growl when I need it.
