The ESP LTD Snakebyte Camo is a detailed reissue of the eye-catching Snakebyte guitar that Metallica mastermind James Hetfield used for his tight riffing on the WorldWired Tour. As an absolute must-have for every Metallica fan, the electric guitar, built in classic set-neck construction, presents itself in the camouflage pattern of the American hunting outfit KUIU, while the active EMG Het Set elicits the typical Metallica sound from every guitar amplifier. Last but not least, a TonePros Locking bridge and LTD Locking tuners complete the ESP LTD Snakebyte Camo.

The ESP LTD Snakebyte Camo James Hetfield Signature is a premium metal guitar with KUIU camouflage pattern and EMG pickups.

The LTD Snakebyte features a large mahogany body and a glued mahogany neck in a "Thin U" profile.

Classic construction and high-playing comfort

For the construction of the Snakebyte James Hetfield Signature guitar, ESP relies on the traditional set-neck construction. The satin KUIU camouflage finish conceals a mahogany body and a glued, three-piece mahogany neck, which together create the basis for a particularly powerful sound. The agile "Thin and neck profile also promises optimal conditions for the problem-free implementation of tight high-speed riffs on the 22-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard.

The EMG Het Set promises authentic thrash metal sounds with typical Metallica attitude.

Active EMG Hetfield Signature Pickups

The electrical tone conversion of the LTD Snakebyte Camo is naturally handled by the active humbuckers of the EMG Het Set. Developed in close collaboration with riff-smith Hetfield, the pickups combine the crisp clarity of active pickups with the organic dynamics of passive humbuckers to elicit powerful sounds from the guitar amp with razor-sharp representation of every note played. Active pickups are controlled straightforwardly by means of a 3-way circuit and separate volume control.

Black LTD locking tuners keep the Snakebyte Camo securely in the correct tuning.

TonePros Bridge and LTD Tuner

High-quality hardware equipment, which also completes professional applications in Studio and on stage with unshakable reliability, completes the equipment of the LTD Snakebyte Camo from ESP. The bridge used here is a TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge with a matching locking stop bar. With six string riders, the bridge, which can be locked firmly on its pins, guarantees exact adjustment of intonation and string action. At the headstock of the Snakebyte Camo also LTD Locking tuners provide accurate and robust tuning.
