The Spatial Delivery is a voltage controlled envelope filter, capable of creating a selection of interesting sounds based around an Auto-Wah effect and the pedals ability to Sample and Hold. The pedal runs in one of three modes, namely Upward Filter Sweep, Downward Filter Sweep or Sample and Hold. The filter sweep modes enrich the signal with touch responsive tone sweeps reacting to a number of filters. After mode selection, the filter envelope is dialled-in using the remaining symbiotic control knobs; Range, Resonance and FiIter. These controls interact dynamically to give a range of effects from subtle modulation to wild resonance. Use the Range control to change the touch-responsiveness of the audio via your attack, whilst the Filter knob moves between Low-Pass, Band-Pass and High-Pass to isolate the area of the signal you are most interested in. Resonance places feedback in the filter path, increasing the ringing and presence the further right the knob is turned.
The Sample and Hold mode is a little different. The filter is now being controlled by a random voltage, making the envelope unpredictable and producing honks, glitches and bleeps. During Sample and Hold operation, the Range knob will now control the speed of the signal, with the other knobs now producing less-discernible repercussions to the sound… you have been warned!
This is a true bypass pedal and, like all Earthquaker Devices pedals, was made by hand in the USA.
