The Guild F-1512 is a true 12-string classic in jumbo format from the affordable Westerly series. Thanks to its huge jumbo body made of solid rosewood , the guitar develops a rich and warm sound, especially in the bass frequencies, which in combination with the clear trebles produced by a solid Sitka spruce top perfectly complements the overall sound. A flat mahogany neck with a 'C' profile makes it easy for the player to reach into all 20 frets , that are embedded in a noble rosewood fretboard . The narrow 48 mm nut width and 648 mm scale length further ensure excellent playability and help the player press down all 12 strings effortlessly. An elaborately designed sound hole rosette and a large inlay on the headstock round off the instrument perfectly in its aesthetics and show the manufacturer's attention to detail.
