The DPLR is an analog Delay and Chorus effect that was created in a collaboration between WMD and SSF (Steady State Fate). The name suggests that Doppler is meant. This is correct because the module has two interactive delay lines, each with a delay time of 750 milliseconds. Feedback and Delay-Zeit are set together for both outputs, while the delay offset can be set separately for output B. The main parameters rain, spread and Delay can be modulated via control voltage. Intensive modulation of Delay-Zeit via LFO in particular produces wafting Chorus effects or delays with pitch artifacts, depending on the control setting. The button switches between seven different channel crossovers (crosstalk / ping pong) and four filter settings for the regeneration phase. The signal path is mono, but pseudo-stereo effects are also possible thanks to the two outputs.
