Product information - Gibson Dove Original AN

All solid electro acoustic guitar in dreadnought construction with Sitka spruce top, maple body, including case and Accessory Kit

With this re-issue of the  Gibson Dove Original AN , the American manufacturer Gibson expands its  Original Series  by an  all solid electro acoustic guitar  in authentic  1960s  look featuring the characteristic  Tortoise pickguard with engraved dove . Equipped with a  Sitka spruce top , the all solid Dove produces very bright sounds, that are especially pronounced in the middle frequencies and are enriched with a fast and bass-rich attack by the  maple body . A thin  nitro lacquer  and a scalloped X-bracing  promote the strong vibration behaviour of the instrument and allow for a fast and clean tonal development with little effort. The  rosewood fretboard  with  mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays  is worked into a  3-piece maple neck , offering smooth playability thanks to a  43.8 mm nut width  and allow the player excellent access to all  20 frets . A large headstock with inlay and Gibson lettering perfectly complements the overall appearance and, with the inserted  chrome-plated Gotoh Keystone tuners , fully embodies the spirit of the 1960s. The Gibson Dove Original AN electro acoustic guitar comes including an  L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system case  and  Gibson Accessory Kit .
