Solid nylon string guitar with cutaway and pickup system

Thanks to its fully solid construction, the Cordoba GK Pro Negra produces a powerful and balanced sound that unfolds very quickly and has long-lasting decay. In addition to the selected tonewoods, the fan bracing and the ultra-thin high-gloss finish contribute significantly to this. The interplay of a flat neck with a 'C' profile and a generous cutaway makes it easy for the player to access all 19 frets. Meanwhile, the high-quality bone hardware ensures clean intonation throughout the 650mm scale. The headstock is equipped with gold-plated classical tuners with the help of which the 6 nylon strings can be tuned easily and accurately. In addition, the guitar is equipped with a dual pickup system that allows the acoustic sound to be perfectly amplified. Visually, the instrument is rounded off by wooden Bindings and a filigree soundhole rosette. The Cordoba GK Pro Negra comes with a case.

Construction and woods

In order for the guitar to produce a clear and defined sound, the top is made of solid spruce. The fine-grained wood provides assertive midrange and treble frequencies that are very noticeable at Pickings. Solid rosewood back and sides enrich the tone with a warm and crisp note, allowing even strummed chords to make their mark. The mahogany neck is equipped with an ebony fingerboard, which is particularly easy and comfortable to use.

Hardware and design

The saddle and the 50 mm wide nut are perfectly matched so that every string sounds clean in every fret. At the same time, the gold-plated tuners promise easy tuning. The Fishman Prefix Pro Blend pickup system is equipped with a comprehensive saddle preamp, which allows the output signal to be individually adjusted according to style and amplifier. Matching the dark fretboard and ebony bridge, the soundhole rosette is rather dark in design and contrasts nicely with the lighter shade of the top wood. The multi-ply Bindings rosewood also provides a smooth transition between the individual components of the body.
