Whether youre looking for raw processing power with instant front-panel access for live performance, or seeking rich, smooth and complex processing algorithms in the studio, Lexicon brings the best of both worlds together in the Lexicon MX200 Dual Reverb Effects Processor.
The Lexicon MX200 is a dual-processor, single rack space multi-effects processor designed with both live sound reinforcement and home recording in mind. Featuring the deep, rich reverb and effects algorithms that built the Lexicon legend, the MX200 offers increased versatility with dynamics and specialty effects all instantly accessible via the extremely intuitive front panel.
I have been using a Lexicon reverb processor exactly like this one for some years now.
I can easily integrate it in my signal path and have great vocals or that special depth in my arturia minibrute sound!
Definitely recommend it!
Earlier today, I decided to have a look at my Lexicon MX200. It had been gathering dust for a while, and although it had been purchased many years ago (I can't actually recall when, but it was a long time back), I thought I'd better see if it was still of any use to me. The answer was of course, yes, absolutely (for both live and studio work); and so I set about a quick internet search to find some documentation. However, much to my surprise, I found that the MX200 is still available; and that's the reason I'm writing this review. IMHO, products that remain available for such a long time do so because they are not only good, they are magnificent. The MX200 meets these criteria (and some). So much so that, not only will I be using my existing unit, I might even buy another one and link them together using their S/PDIFs.
