The Sigma S000M-18 produces a very powerful and defined sound thanks to its solid 000-14 Fret construction, which is especially pronounced in the mid frequencies. Therefore, the instrument is extremely well suited for expressive pickings and light strummings. The neck is equipped with a low profile, so that all 20 frets can be operated easily and obligingly. At the same time, the open Grover tuners guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. Visually, the instrument is decorated with discreet inlays that give the overall appearance a timeless touch. The scope of delivery includes a lightweight, in-house softshell case with backpack straps.
Because of its mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top, the S000M-18 develops warm bass frequencies that are complemented with clear midrange and treble frequencies. With the help of the razor-thin finish and bracing, the tone responds very quickly and sounds long-lasting, so that each note transitions smoothly into the next. The flat mahogany neck is completed with an ebony fingerboard, promising comfortable playability.
To ensure that the instrument intonates cleanly over the entire scale length of 645 mm, the compensated bridge inlay and the 45 mm wide nut are made of bone. Meanwhile, the chrome-plated, open tuners with butterbean buttons ensure clean tuning. Fine dot inlays are positioned on the black fretboard for orientation. The top is surrounded by a multi-layer binding that tastefully matches the soundhole rosette and the extensive tortoise pickguard.
