Stereo processing for bus and sum signals

With the Bus Rider WMD presents a compact multiband EQ & dynamics processor tool for stereo signals. The signal path consists of an isolator EQ, multiband compressor and lookahead limiter . The toggle switch is used to select which function is currently active. All three functions are active at the same time and can be deactivated by adjusting the controls accordingly. There is also a bypass switch for quick A/B comparisons.

The Isolator EQ is functionally based on DJ mixers and has a control range from +12dB to full attenuation per band and also offers adjustable crossover frequencies for the high and low bands. The multiband compressor provides the necessary pressure and punch; with threshold and ratio for each band, you can quickly achieve the desired result. The last part of the signal path is a lookahead limiter which, depending on the control setting, can tame the overall level or roughen it with saturation. The Low Mono Mode sums the low frequency band to mono to achieve optimum compatibility with sound systems.

Despite all the features, operation is simple, as the labelling of the controls and the toggle switch, including the shift mode, are clearly marked in colour. The module has 9 memory locations for the most important settings. The low parameter of the EQ has its own CV input, another input can be freely assigned to all other parameters.
