API A2D Stereo Mic Pre with Digital Out

The API A2D Stereo Mic Preamp is a pair of signature 312 microphone preamps with integrated digital output.  The * features an A/D section with standard digital interface outputs, multiple sample-rate choices, 6 sample rate options and internal/external clock.  Analog connectors on the rear panel include an XLR input/output for each channel and a balanced ¼” TRS into the A/D converter. 

The signal of the microphone can be maintained by controlling the analog gain to produce a super-clean sound or made to sound more warm and retro by adding more saturation.  It is possible to slave together multiple A2D units giving the user even more room to experiment with sound.
