With the Behringer Powerplay P16-M system, Behringer gives musicians the freedom to control their own monitoring signal - whether on stage or in the studio. Up to 16 separate channels can be transmitted simultaneously to the P16-M monitoring unit using a single Ethernet cable. So it's up to the artist to decide which of the channels he wants to hear and how loud. In addition, a limiter provides safe overload protection and the integrated 3-band EQ allows the sound of each channel to be individually adjusted.
We bought a “evaluation” system of four P16-M and one P16-I for personal monitor functions to our brand new recording studio. Compared to the price the P16-M:s are good. It’s easy to use and has a lot of power for the headphone. (Even high ohm:s like Beyerdynamic DT-150).
On the minus side it has a typical “Behringer background noise level” that you can hear then no music is playing. It doesn’t increase much by the volume so it’s more of a background noise and not audibly then the playback is on. We also noted that this noise was a bit different from unit to unit. The build quality is typical Behringer as well. On this unit: solid, but no high grade ports or fancy materials. Over all good value for money. We can recommend this product.
A very fast and professional service. I ordered a x32 and p16 on the Sunday and it was delivered on the following Wednesday. The customer service was great and very responsive. I will certainly shop here again. I saved over £100 against competitors offers. Thank you guys ..
Im part of a complex tribute band set up.
We have the new Behringer D32 which is amazing but this IEM monitor is the icing on the cake - brilliant all round in terms of connection, usability and features - it gets 10 our of 10 from me!
