For the Fender 1957 NOS Strat construction, the Fender Custom Shop team relied on Leo's Fender established screw-neck construction and carefully selected woods. Accordingly, the body is made of light alder, while the neck is made of one piece hard birdseye maple in exquisite AA quality. This combination gives the guitar a particularly lively basic tone with fast response and balanced frequency response. With the grippy " Large C" profile, the neck also offers a high level of playing comfort, which allows any playing technique to go easily out of hand.

Stratocaster Fiesta Red Three Fender Noiseless N3 Single coils are used as pickups on the Fender 1957 NOS. Due to their special construction, these pickups deliver the classic Strat sound without the frequently occurring background noises. The lively dynamics of the pickups in combination with the tight bass foundation, the vocal midrange spectrum and the belly-blue treble are the perfect basis for an expressive electric guitar playing between Pop , Blues, Jazz and Rock . The pickups are controlled by a 5-way blade switch, a master volume control and two tone controls.
