Fender Mexico relies on original ingredients to revive the bass classic as authentically as possible as part of a Vintera II Limited Run available for a short time. The solid alder body with its 'Road Worn' nitro finish is sonically, visually and haptically coherent, while the early '60s profile of the maple neck provides the right feel for the picking hand. The rosewood fingerboard with a classic 7.25" fingerboard radius and vintage-tall fretting is also authentic. The tried-and-tested Preci sounds are provided by a Vintage-Style '60s split coil, which impresses with its straightforward passive electrics and is controlled via knobs for Volume and Tone.
