The body is made of mahogany and has a bolt-on neck made of quarter sawn maple, which sits comfortably in the hand with its modern "C" profile and is ideal for a wide range of playing styles. Together with the rosewood fingerboard including 13.75" radius, 22 frets and classic Dot-Inlays, the result is comfortable handling for rich riffs, sharp chord work and demanding solos in high registers. The 3-saddle T-style bridge is equipped with three string riders that skillfully convey the iconic vintage charm, while six locking tuners ensure reliable tuning. As an additional highlight, the high-quality nitrocellulose finish gives the instrument a grandiose look and testifies to the high quality of workmanship at custom store level!

Pickups & electronics
The FameCustom TL is equipped with two Fame single coils in the neck and bridge positions, which reproduce the characteristic Vintage-Sound in all its facets. The neck pickup can transport warm cleans with plenty of low-end wonderfully, making it perfectly configured for round rhythm work. The bridge pickup mounted directly in the bridge impresses with its snappy twang and crisp response. The circuit is controlled via a 3-way switch as well as volume and tone controls, allowing the typical Tele sound colours to be called up faithfully and versatilely. The FameCustom TL thus combines a classic sound with modern playability.
