GIBSON ES-335 Figured Sixties Cherry
Semi-Hollow electric guitar with laminated maple body and T-Type pickups, case included
The Gibson ES-335 Figured Sixties Cherry Semi-Hollow electric guitar combines the coveted semi-acoustic design by Ted McCarty with a series of noble details to create a first-class electric guitar for blues, jazz and rock. The top, back and sides of the slim Thinline body are made of three-ply flamed maple laminate with a chic grain, while the solid centre block prevents unwanted feedback at high volumes without influencing the resonant timbre in the tone colour. The set mahogany neck with its "Rounded C" profile in optimal thickness also offers comfortable playing characteristics on the rosewood fingerboard with its stylish small block inlays. When amplified, the ES-335 Figured delivers lively vintage tones that capture the resonant timbre of the semi-acoustic construction, thanks to two T-Type Alnico humbuckers. A hand-wired circuit with orange drop capacitors allows precise adjustment of the sound with smooth treble roll-offs. Last but not least, a traditional hardware setup featuring an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminium stop bar and vintage keystone machine heads completes the Gibson ES-335 Figured Sixties Cherry Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.
