With the Mayones Aquila QM 6 Transparent Blue ST-Style electric guitar, the guitar manufacturer from Gdansk in Poland is launching a versatile guitar for modern fusion and rock guitarists. The classically designed Mayones features a T.E.W. swamp ash body for a lively sound, while the intense grain of the quitled maple top emphasizes the noble appearance. The one-piece wenge neck not only offers a breathtaking look but also comfortable handling, so that on the 24-fret ebony fretboard, every sound, no matter how complex, comes out of the hand as if by magic. A top-class HSS pickup setup with a splittable Lollar Imperial Low-Wind-Humbucker on the bridge and two Lollar Blackface single coils in neck and middle position also provides dynamic and transparent clean and overdrive sounds. Indestructible hardware in the form of a Gotoh 510 tremolo and precise Gotoh 510 locking tuners completes the Mayones Aquila QM 6 Transparent Blue.
In the construction of the Mayones Aquila QM, Mayones naturally relies on first-class wood selection, which combines breathtaking looks with a lively tone. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a body of thermally treated T.E.W. swamp ash and a quilted maple top, the grain of which is brought to life by the transparent blue Lagoon Burst finish with almost tangible depth. In addition, the slim "C" profile of the one-piece wenge neck lies comfortably in the hand, so that the smoothly designed neck base guarantees optimum playability of all 24 stainless steel frets of the ebony fingerboard.
The pickups of the Mayones Aquila QM are contributed by none other than established boutique builder Jason Lollar. On the bridge, a Lollar Imperial Low-Wind-Humbucker with reduced output provides a brilliant sound that resolves even complex chords cleanly and is therefore equally suited for powerful clean sounds as well as assertive drive tones. A push/pull switch in the volume knob allows the humbucker to be split into a transparent single coil. In the neck and middle position, Lollar Blackface single coils also promise full vintage sounds with clear highs, present mids and a dynamic response.
A high-quality hardware equipment from Gotoh completes the Mayones Aquila QM 6 Transparent Blue. The Gotoh 510 Tremolo is used on the body, which invites virtuoso use of the Whammy-Bar with its smooth handling and high tuning stability. On the headstock, Gotoh 510 locking tuners also guarantee precise tuning. Last but not least, Schaller seatbelt holders hold the Mayones Aquila securely in the guitar strap.
