The Dateq SPL-2 MK2 Program Limiter is the basic version which guards the sound pressure level under all circumstances. The SPL-2 Limiter from Dateq is the smallest member of the SPL family.

The SPL3 works just like the SPL2: the microcontroller continuously measures the input-level and attenuates the output level as much as necessary to keep the sound level below the given threshold.
