Redundant USB connections for backup laptops
One of the most powerful functions of the Radial KL-8 is the redundant USB system. In addition to the main laptop, a second computer can be connected as a backup. If the main system fails during the show, you can immediately switch to the backup system at the touch of a button or using the optional JR-1L footswitch.

Silent cueing and headphone monitoring
The KL-8 features an integrated headphone amplifier and two 6.35 mm TRS headphone outputs. This allows you to silently pre-listen to signals, prepare sounds or check individual channels without the audience noticing.
Each input channel has a cue switch that takes the signal from the main mix and routes it directly to the headphones. This is ideal for adjusting patches, testing sounds or unobtrusively controlling USB playback.

Thanks to the high-quality converters, the KL-8 can also be easily used as a recording interface. This means you can record clean tracks on the road, in the rehearsal room or directly after the show without having to lug around an additional interface.
