Infinity Grid EZX delivers exactly the sound that modern and progressive metal demands: from brute punch to articulate depth of detail. Together with Jay Postones (TesseracT), three independent kits were created, recorded by Steve Blackmon in the Back Stage Room at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville - a room that lets drums sing without smearing details. Thanks to mix-ready presets with layeredone-shots(from Acle Kahney, TesseracT and others), kicks and snares cut through dense arrangements effortlessly. If you like it pure, choose the original Mix variants and continue shaping from there.
Sound, presets & workflow
Each kit has its own tonality - from dark and heavy to dry and precise. The presets combine carefully blended samples for attack, smack and depth; alternatively, unprocessed variants are available. A MIDI basics collection by Jay Postones speeds up arranging, ghostnotes and fast paradiddles are fully preserved thanks to dynamic mapping.
Compatibility: Extension for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 (download/serial, no box).

Application & production tips
The presets instantly deliver cutting kicks and authoritativesnares, ideal for deep guitar tunings and dense synth layers. The space is reflective but tight so that transients remain clear at high tempos; increase the layer amounts for extra weight, select the original Mix for organic depth and shape further via SD3/EZ3 effects.
