With the Seventeen, Crumar presents a modern digital piano in the vintage style of the 60s and 70s. The exterior of the case-like construction is wrapped in black and blue Tolex and simply looks like a keyboard instrument of bygone days; if it weren't for the clearly arranged control panel including display. The 73-key keyboard is equipped with a pleasantly playable Italian-style hammer action.

Timeless sound selection

The sound generation of the Seventeen is composed of physical modeling synthesis and samples and covers sounds such as Tine Piano, Acoustic Grand Piano D-274 & C5, Electric Grand Pianos 70 & 80, Reed EP, DX EP, Clavi EP (various pickup combinations), MKS EP + AP, vibraphone, harpsichord as well as a selection of combo pianos and string sounds. The sounds of the Seventeen can be significantly changed again with a few simple steps, for this there are some effects that can be used at the same time. Reverb, delay, tremolo, vibrato, wah wah, chorus, flanger, phaser and even a 3-band EQ with AMP simulator shape the sounds of the Seventeen in a variety of ways, so that you can get amazingly close to your favorite recordings. If the offered is not enough, you have the possibility to exchange the existing basic sounds with other models of the Crumar Seven. Every sample set of the Seven is compatible with the Seventeen!

Connectors

The Seventeen's connections are located on the side. Large jacks for the Stereo line output and the headphones send the sounds to the outside world. MIDI is communicated via USB input and output, the MIDI DIN jack makes the Seventeen a master keyboard for connected sound expanders. An input for a separately available Sustain pedal provides additional control when playing the keyboard.
