Easy recording, saving and transfer

The Enttec S-Play is the perfect solution if you want to plan, record, edit and finally play back your light show. Start by recording static or dynamic scenes by capturing a DMX source via the XLR connectors, or use the Ethernet connection and the Art-Net and sACN protocols for this purpose.

For simple scenes, you can easily operate the start and stop functions manually. If you need something a little more complex, further control options are available via the web interface.

Finally, simply save your recordings and scenes to the 8 GB internal memory or a micro SD card. A USB port is also available for backups and transferring shows between multiple units.

Powerful yet intuitive editing functions

Once you have recorded your scenes, you can perfect them using the powerful yet easy-to-use editing functions of Enttec S-Play. Via the web interface, you can create the ideal sequence for your show on a timeline – simply by dragging and dropping your recordings. Add details such as fade-ins and fade-outs for the finishing touches. The built-in effects generator allows you to create, customise and integrate effects without the need for external hardware such as consoles.

Next, define triggers that initiate changes in the light show – thanks to support for OSC, RS232, DMX, Art-Net, sACN and digital input protocols, the possibilities are endless – and drag these onto the timeline as well. This way, you can prepare your unique performance with the Enttec S-Play in no time at all.

Flexible playback

Start your light show in whatever way suits you best. As well as DMX, other control options such as sCAN and Art-Net are available. However, the Enttec S-Play can do more than just play back or trigger lighting effects: thanks to the RS232 connection and the control protocols mentioned above, you can also integrate fog machines and other external devices into your show. In total, you can create up to 128 events for this purpose.

And should an external unit suddenly fail – meaning, for example, that an event isn’t triggered – this isn’t a problem with the Enttec S-Play thanks to the failsafe principle: simply manually skip ahead in the playlist and everything will continue as planned.
